A pneumatic cylinder (air connection 1) presses on this collet during tool change, releases the tool from the taper and releases it. The tool sits in a SK15 tool holder with an ER11 collet. Afterwards the tool change spindle can be easily mounted on the 43 mm Euro-neck just like the original Kress. The attachment is screwed onto the spindle shaft and fixed to the spindle.
